Val and Kenzie’s Wedding

These beautiful brides brought every bit of their love and personality into the making of their wedding day.
Both math teachers, Val and Kenzie live in L.A. Kenzie’s parents live on the family Ranch just outside of Bayfield. It is as gorgeous a venue as you can imagine and the perfect place for Val and Kenzie to start their life together as a married couple. Turning a Ranch into a wedding venue is no easy task. All night I couldn’t help but smile as I saw geometric shapes hanging all over. The details were all done by the couple and their family. Val is particularly talented at crafting and creating. She and Kenzie made the beautiful center pieces, name cards, and so many other of the details that made this wedding uniquely their own.
These brides and their love made taking pictures so simple. There was no prompting needed. They are so in love and were so excited for their wedding day, all I had to do was sit back and snap the camera while they enjoyed the brilliance of each other and that special day.
I am so grateful to Val, Kenzie and their amazing family and friends. This was a wonderful day and I am so happy to have had a chance to get to know them. Someone told me that once you knew Val and Kenzie, they made you feel like family. They absolutely did that for me and I hope the images of their day bring back the love, joy and memories from their wedding day.
